Thanks for the feedback! Our cases are designed to be slim-fitting, but they're still surprisingly good at protecting your phone. We use these cases on our phones and have dropped them countless times over the years without any issues. In addition, we’ve also heard all kinds of stories from customers about crazy drops (off a giant tractor, onto concrete, etc), and they were very impressed with how well the cases protected their phones. So, while I don't know what would happen if you dropped your phone off a building or something like that, for regular wear and tear they seem to do just great! :)
